    • Hahahaaa… Love that line… But you are missing the D'oh!

How does taking a test improve my body health?

Or how does taking a test give you a healthier mind?

    • It releases antioxidants.

According to my reading of the info you require a valid US address! From the site:
"The Mensa Home Test can only be purchased with a valid U.S. address. If you are not currently living in the United States or its protectorates, you may wish to contact Mensa International for more information on pre-testing in your country."
Makes it useless to most of us therefore!

it isn't too hard to look up an address in the US and just use that. beverly hills 90210 normally works for me if you just need a suburb and zip code.

right, as if no one here buys digital downloads from amazon.com. ;)

  • Richard Feynman had an IQ of 125 and wouldn't have qualified for Mensa. What a dummy.

    • Einstein's IQ 112

      • As far as we known today, Albert Einstein has never done any IQ test. Thus his IQ is unknown!

In the 20ies scientists had tried to estimate the IQ of deceased personalities such as Mozart (1756-1791) and Goethe (1749-1832) by means of biographic data; thus they wanted to estimate Albert Einstein’s IQ, too. The value estimated for Einstein was between 160 and 180. But this rough estimation can not count as Einstein’s IQ!

      • From where did you come up with that?

  • As Groucho once said: "I don't want to belong to any club that will have me as a member"

    Oooh - I like this: http://www.targetmap.com/viewer.aspx?reportId=4923

I would note that many IQ tests have location or cultural specific references. A test from the USA may mention things like US politics or states that will mean little to many people here. An online IQ test is an interesting diversion of no more or less value than playing Angry Birds. If conducted by a trained practitioner then it may have more validity.

    • i've taken a sample of their test before, it's quite generic.

a lot of shapes, maths , patterns..

it is an IQ test, not a General knowledge test… incidentally, a lot of 'online tests' out there can't seem to tell the difference.

the only thing i took away from that experience is that they are rather snobbish…. i mean, i have to pay for the test and I have to get a certain grade to qualify for their 'club', then pay again to join their 'club' .. lol. which sucker does that?

I kept the money, spent it on Wasteland (the pc game), I am a winner already.
