I'm not sure whether it is a good time to purchase a ultrabook since the X'mas and New Year sale was just over. However I recommend you to check MSY (http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/notebook.pdf) or Centrecom (http://www.centrecom.com.au/laptops?specs=6&orderby=10) first.
BTW, another OzBargainer mentioned that there is a laptop clearance in some AUPost shops and she/he got a laptop for only 200 dollars.

it's not bad by any means, but if you stick it out a bit longer I'm pretty sure prices will drop even further! by the way it's not a 4th gen processor is it? question is : how much would you be willing to pay for the difference between a 3rd gen and 4th gen core i3, i5 or i7?
