Hoyts / Grater Union 12 Month Unlimited Pass (Gold Pass / Gold Card)? Are these still around? Can I buy one anywhere?

I wanted to buy a present for someone and I can't seem to find enough information about these yearly unlimited movie passes.

I find trickles of information here and there - mostly in the form of specialised prizes for competitions for big websites.

Some information from NZ websites show people wanting to sell "Gold Passes" for around $1500.

I came across information about a Black Card at Hoyts but it looks like it can only be used 5 times per year? The description is very confusing.

I also called Hoyts Head Office and they said that there is only 1 person in the whole of Hoyts that knows anything about it an they are away on leave until next Monday :\

No-one in their place can help me… And I need to buy this for Saturday.

Anyone know anything?
