Where to purchase floor rugs in Sydney?

I need some various sized floor rugs for my home:

  1. approx 1m x 2m for living area (wool preferred)
  2. 1 bedroom rug (wool preferred)
  3. 2x smaller rugs for entry and at the foot of the stairs

I'm after more of a contemporary style (ie not the "Persian carpet gallery" type designs). I had a look in Freedom, and it seemed pricey for the quality. The rug stores in home maker centres all seem a bit "nylon-y").

Any tips on floor rug shops in Sydney would be appreciated.

    We bought a couple of rugs from Deals Direct last year and were very happy with the quality.

    They regularly have free or $2 shipping on the rugs (if not site-wide).

    Cheaper than anything I have found in-store.

    We bought in the Deco rug two years ago. Its pretty fair price for the quality you got. We got it when they had some store wide discount. I think it was 20 percent discount. Check it out.
