I bought a pc system on April last year from MSY and had ASUS HD7950 GPU. I have 2 problems since then and I came to MSY and had them send it back to ASUS in Taiwan. The problem is it takes to long to get the GPU back.
As a customer what other options do I have beside buying a new GPU? Can I get a refund or an exchange?
asus service centre is in silverwater
if your in the area you can save yourself the delivery fee and drop it off
the screen from my asus laptop died…..took over a month to get it RMA then fixed
did take some effort though….
wasnt what you call an easy process
from other stories about RMA experience with ASUS its a hit and miss kind of thing as well
Out of curiosity, what happened to the hd7950? On the recommendation of a random youtube system reviewer, I steered clear of amd GPUS due to perceived reliability issues.
the 1st time it made my PC won't turn on. It got fixed from Aug to Oct. Then the second time which is very recent, it has black marks everywhere when playing games.
You can go directly to a ASUS service centre. I'd imagine it would be a similar process.
