It seems like only last week it was Christmas; and yet here we are preparing for Easter!
I'm not sure which is the better deal:
(1) Coles 2 packs of Hot Cross Buns for $7 — SAVE $1; or
(2) Woolworths 2 packs of Hot Cross Buns for $7 — SAVE $2;
…probably the Woolworths deal; but I'll let you be the judge.
One thing's for sure, these will DEFINITELY sell out! I predict by late April/early May, you will no longer see them on the shelves.

woolies buns are far nicer than coles - that actually covers their entire inhouse baked range.
they will be around til mid year. the week after easter they start flogging them off for $2 each. cheap alternative to raisin bread.
I don't know if I'd consider this a 'bargain' - they run this deal every couple of weeks.

I celebrated the 50 year anniversary last year with some JFK buns, how about you?
every year I'm a little bit disappointed by how quickly these return to the shelves. Doesn't stop me eating them though.

I was telling my wife on Boxing day expect to see Hot Cross Buns on the shelves by mid Jan. They beat me by a week.
The mini choc ones from Woolies are quite nice.
