dude, first of all, you are quite rude and make non-sense comment, getting a GENUINE case is more likely happening in local retailers plus within a year if there is something wrong, I can have it fixed without hassle. PLUS, Commuter is totally different from Defender: some would find it not bulky and easier to interact with phone with Commuter, not Defender. It's about choice, no one asks you to be smart*** ;)
One bad cookie isn't going to ruin anything. People can still make there own decisions whether it's a good deal, no need to get nasty and accuse people of being rude :)

May I also add, defender is a level above commuter. It is meant to be more expensive than the commuters.

Commuter case was reduced at the same time. I bought an Otterbox Defender & Commuter case for $5 each at my nearest Big W after seeing the earlier post. I think original price was $59.95 for Defender case & $39.95 for Commuter case.
Note these cases were reduced as they do not fit 5C or 5S. Updated Defender & Commuter cases fully compatible with the newest iphones have been released. Hence the markdown on iphone 5 cases.

I was in Garden City Big W today and they had 20 or 25% off ipad cases. not certain of the exact percentage as I was only interested in the bit that said 'except apple branded items'. Bummer as I'm looking for a smart case

I think it is 25% off all Apple accessories as well. Scanned iPad & iPod cases and screen protectors all 25% off but nothing for a few dollars so left empty handed.
