      • These are already pretty dirt cheap.. I'd only look for specials on those USB's with better data transfer speeds.

          I know, I read his comment. That's why I'm saying - don't worry about getting these cheap and crappy unreliable USB's but rather be keen on getting cheaper prices for the better USBs. Cheap bits of plastics can only be discounted to a certain amount, the retailer and the manufacturer has to gain from the sales, going below the $5 cost for these cheap useless USB's is definitely not going to happen - unless they are being discontinued and thus clearance.

          Don't waste your time looking for a 50 cent discount on these $4.97 USB's.
