The first one I bought (6months ago) I paid $129. Then the wife decided she wanted one as well and I picked one up 3-4 weeks ago for $89 from DSE which is the deal the OP mentions they missed. Great alarm clock, the dimming is a lot better than the Sony my wife had, the big display and digital radio work well. Though I bought it initially as I just really liked the design :)

Used the link from Westfield to DJ, could not find it in DJ website.
Would not look out of place in my car! :D
All thats missing is a usb or sdcard reader and itll be perfect for those time when theres just rubbish on the radio.
it's all rubbish now that novanation is gone
Shame it is mono. Looks nice, would have liked to add this to my stereo system in my kitchen otherwise

Some of the AM stations also broadcast DAB, but if you're wanting to listen to analogue AM, then no don't think this will do it.
My dad is an AM fan and uses his old Optus tab with external speakers and the TuneIn Radio app.
