Overstock.com eBay website = awesome

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share a recent experience I had with Overstock.com's ebay store: http://www.ebay.com/usr/overstock

Overstock is a huge US retailer, but they really mark up the prices and charge crazy shipping rates if you want delivery to Australia. However, they also have an ebay store with more or less the same stuff and no mark up.

I bought 2 large Fisher Price toys and the combined shipping came to only $37! The two boxes are very big and combined weight was 13kg. I ordered on Boxing Day and they arrived Jan 2. Can't be happier with the service and just wanted to give them a mention because Overstock does not get the same attention here as other US retailers such as Amazon.

    I have seen the odd thing here and there worth it from overstock, but the shipping has always killed it.

    Thank you for the tip. I should have searched ozbargain BEFORE I ordered from the US. I thought I was being clever and used the MyUS service. An item is listed on the Overstock US site for USD$43.19, if you log in as an Australian it is USD$56.12, the same item is available for AU$44.09 on the eBay site.

      12 hours after confirming my order they cancelled it. Unable to accept non-US credit cards.
