It appears to be today only. Chimei 22" CMV-221D LCD Monitor is on-sale at ShoppingSquare today for only $338.95. Here is the spec:

  • Resolution: 1680x1050 WSXGA+
  • Display Color: 16.7M (8 bits Hi-FRC)
  • Brightness: 33 cd/m2
  • Contrast Ratio: 800:1
  • Viewing Angle: 170H / 160V
  • Response time: 5ms
  • Interface: DVD-D and D-Sub

It is one of the original 22" that brings down the price of "large" LCD monitors. Although claimed to be 8 bit, but it's actually 6 bit with dithering (I think most 22" are 6 bit TN panels).

You could get it cheaper from MSY (staticICE price comparison) however

    Great deal. But it's difficult to swap it for another one in case of dead pixels, which is not uncommon for Chimei, I heard. So that's something to keep in mind. Still very good price for 22" LCD without all the hassle of running around.

    MSY (www.msy.com.au) has the Chimei 221D for $329 pickup in most capital cities… and has for a while - while this is mentioned above, I still think it's worth having MSY on your bargains everyday!

        Fair comment Danilo

        Nice to see price match. Until now have been fan of MSY, but last time they were downright rude and unattentive, and I wasn't requiring any support. I know and respect they are just box movers - but when there's 30 people in the store and three of them standing around talking, and also interrupting the two who were serving, it was a bit much.

        So price matching with shipping is a fair and good deal (Is the free shipping still available until the 19th? or was that only for the one day?

    The correct rate is 2% moneyback on everything from ShoppingSquare (there were some error). However, Chimei CMV 221D's rate is still keep at 10% moneyback to keep this posted offer valid.

    so the 10% moneyback is only for the CMW221D? i am interested in getting some other stuff from shopping square and was kinda waiting for them to join moneybackco :)

      They are using an affiliation network that MoneyBackCo is part of, and it is now at 2% instead of 10% (an error on ShoppingSquare's side). Better than nothing.
