Hi,
I purchased 2 games through Click and Collect back on the 28th November. The estimated delivery on the items was 12 December. Nothing turned up so I called back and they said it had to be over a certain amount of time before they could do anything and just to wait. I called back again about 2 weeks ago and they said I could just walk in to the store and grab them and show the Click and Collect email. They didn't have those games on the shelf in store so I called again. Now they have deemed the items lost in transit and since they don't stock them online anymore they said they need to give me a refund.
I have a problem with this because they have had my money for over a month and I have received nothing for it, and I could have bought those games in store at the time for the same price ($68). Now if they give me a refund I will have to pay $78 per game minimum for them. I've told them I am not happy with just a refund and I want to speak to someone higher up. I'm now waiting for the call, any suggestions on what to say?
Save your breath mate. Big W online are terrible.
Did the same to me with a children's slide.
They only goodwill gesture they would do was reinstate the $5 off coupon I had used, which was now expired. Not give me a $5 credit, just cancel the coupon as being used - so I could use it again. When pointed out to them it was now expired, they said there was nothing they could do about that.
My advice would be to not buy online from a buisness that does not rely on online purchases. Most are terrible, because they really couldn't care less.
Really, move on and vote with your feet (on fingers I guess).
