$2.99 for iPhone users. Normally $7.99

    • Thanks, will add to post! :)

  • Great app, it has a good story, fun game and gets you into shape.

No.1 rule for surviving Zombieland is cardio.

    • I think the story is a joke, it's no fun and wont get you into shape (since the story is utterly linear and doesnt change with your performance, you'll be bored and wont bother with the app)

      Nice idea, horrid implementation.

I own it and would advise against puchasing.

      • What was you expecting for an $8 zombie apocalypse based running app?

My expectations were low, but they beat it. I mean of course its linear, you are running, what choices can you make? Movies and books are linear too but that isn't a problem.

The game is where you make choices, not much choice, but still a little fun.

You can jog with an audio book and get a similar experience.

My expectations were much higher due to comments like yours. That's not an attack on you - we can all have our own opinion.

I've love to hear it do something simple like "quick, turn left!" seeings it uses GPS and has 3G access to maps. Or, "turn left to do this, or keep running forward to do this" just like a choose your own adventure. Allow a quick shake of the phone if you need to let it know that the decision can't be made becase it's dangerous in real life. Even without that kind of thing, it could offer "sprint this segment to make it to the safehouse in time". There is a LOT that could be done.

Instead they have made a linear, dull experience even though they have $8 per user + kickstarter funding. My expectations are not unfair for that kind of cash. I really do expect better at that price.

Even accepting that the story is linear, it is cliched, badly written drivel. Likely written by the programmers since it's just that bad.

My honest opinion is that it isn't even worth $3.

        • All fair points.

  • If I couldn't use Telstra credit I wouldn't buy half these apps.
