    xFileDavid… great question… even if you did learn First aid in schools, the cpr component only last 12 months. Because you are learning medical techniques, they change as new protocols are implemented by the Australian Resuscitation Council. Every year, we learn more on the best way to provide first aid and CPR and thats why CPR has to be redone every twelve months and first aid every three years.

    What you learn in first aid could save a life, from a drug overdose, to a drowning, to a snake bite…. you just never know what might happen….

    Scotty that is true but the course is not nationally accredited its just simply a course to give people an idea of what to do…
