Cheap second hand monitors

I want a 20" or larger monitor but having difficulty finding one at a low price. Can anyone suggest where to look? I'm in the Parramatta, NSW region

How cheap is cheap? You can get pretty good older screens for $50

    You can buy a $2 dollar adapter that changes a DVI port to a HDMI one (look up ebay for DVI HDMI adapter). It simply screws onto the DVI port of your monitor and changes it to a female HDMI port, essentially giving it HDMI capability.
    
    There's no sound of course, but who uses monitor speakers.

I have viewsonic 22inch with built-in speakers 1680x1050 pixel resolution which I'm willing to sell for $50.

No hdmi but has dvi port, so you can use the hdmi adapter as suggested by scrimshaw.

PM me if interested, located at Penshurst or can drive around city on Sunday afternoon.
