Just wondering where is a cheap place to park during 31/12-1/1 new years eve at the Sydney cbd?

    Yeah I have checked them all bloody Wilson is charging casual rates on the 31/12. Those deals doesn't apply for that one day.

    I find it best to park at a nearby suburb and take a bus from there. I'd say try Ultimo / Gleebe / Pyrmont suburbs for free parking and the frequency of buses from there is excellent. I'm guessing there will be additional buses running during that time.

    Depending on where you are going in cbd, you can walk to places like darling harbour too from Ultimo / Pyrmont.

    Are you sure you want to park in the CBD? It will literally take hours to drive out at the end of the night.

    Good luck, do you realize how busy it gets? Unless you get there in the morning and wait all day you won't get parking.

    Businesses won't do parking cheap on their most popular night. Most streets are blocked off with only residents Allowed through.

    Driving is a bad idea. Better of catching public transport and early too. When the place gets full they close circular quay station.

    Drive in and arrive at 9:10. Families leave with the kids after 9pm fireworks. Drive about 15 mins but there will be street parking.
