Yeah, but when you actually use it, you'd be using an Australian IP again. It worked when I used Spain last year and I didn't get any of their blackouts.

I'm based in Hong Kong and that promo code worked for me! I paid US$142.49 (normally $189.99) for the League Pass Regular and am watching games just fine from HK. There doesn't seem to be any restrictions based on IP address geolocation. Thanks, OzBargain! :)
The 40% code in the OP works when using a Canadian proxy. However, I am a bit weary of the playoff and finals not being included in the Canadian League Pass. Going by the link though, it should be included.

Confirmed the 40% off worked with a Canadian proxy, paid $89.99 for mine so just over $90 AUS awesome stuff!
Damn, I'm probably some hours late using Canadian Proxy .. doesn't want to take the 40% code.

Ended up using India Proxy and got it for $140 American dollars. Checked bank account, pending $157.66 AUD.

Although I used this method (except replace Canada with Spain) last year and it worked a treat for the whole season including playoffs.
