JB HIFI Gift cards maximum 3x $100 to be used ?

G'day everyone, while at Tuggerah doing some shopping today after paying i noticed at the cash register that there was a sign about 'Fraudulent Gift Cards' or something related along those lines. To the main point - I didn't manage to get a photo of the sign but from memory i remember seeing something about maximum $300 of gift cards to be used only when purchased online from the recent buy one $100 GC with $30 free Egiftcard.

Just wondering if anyone went to any JBHIFI today and saw anything like i saw in Tuggerah JB HIFI.

I am pretty sure this is what i saw, but correct me if I'm wrong(no hate please)

    just print the terms and conditions in the gift card section. makes no mention of any restrictions, and any attempt by them to do otherwise would be in breach of TPA

    I remember seeing a sign some time ago that said photo ID would be requested if there was more than $300 of gift cards involved due to recent fraud issues. From memory, it was only specific to the purchase of gift cards, but I'm not 100% sure.
