Best way is to ebay it or sell it on a private forums trading area for 10% discounted on face value.
Would like to do that but I don't know how to prove the veracity of my gift card to the customer, and it's an e-gift card at that, without providing to them the e-card details and risk having the credit stolen from me. Any ideas?
I think your biggest problem is dishonest people claiming the code 'didn't' work but in-fact it did.
Perhaps the best way is to meet the buyer at Rebel Sport to confirm the balance. And/or meet when the buyer wants to use the giftcard, that way the buyer cant say you gave him an empty giftcard…if that makes any sense.
You can take a screenshot of the available balance of the card from lookup online. You could also arrange for the store to check the balance and confirm with a receipt or something.
Are you still selling the gift card?
You may not get as much if you sold it privately, but you can try cardlimbo as they purchase unwanted gift cards.
Easiest way would probably sell or swap it online with someone here for like $150-$180 bucks or go to Rebel sport and sell it to someone thats checking out and ask them if they are willing to buy the card and use it from you.
