Have been looking for a good deal on a decent tablet for the parents and just saw the Nexus 10 on sale at Kogan.
Perhaps the Nexus 10 2 is just around the corner? Who knows..
Enjoy!

Not saying it is a bad deal just keep in mind it is a 13 months old product. First released in November 2012.
That is true, but I think that the Nexus 10 hardware is still reasonable when compared with a lot of other tablets. Especially if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to some of the newer more costly tablets.
At $329 I think this is a reasonable bargain. I didn't think I'd say that coming from kogan. :P
Very good price. Cheapest I've seen is straight from google at $469
I wish I could find out if a new model will be released or if this is it for the 10unch series from google
Definitely would be nice to hear either yea or nay from Google on a new 10", but alas. Another option might be the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition… It's around $600 commonly but might be good value on the ShoppingExpress boxing day sale?
Don't quite get how kogan can discount so heavily on these. Why doesn't google play store drop the price as well?
It's a grey import
There is no "AU stock" for Google products.
All Nexus 7s and 10s sold in b&m stores are "AU" stock.
The advantage in buying from Google though, you still pay gst and can still claim it back to reduce cost further more. Plus Google support I bet is a lot better than kogans. Though claiming back gst is only an advantage for some people and isn't such a big deal when the margin in price is this much, but normally these grey importers price aren't that much cheaper.
Not really- all sorts of products are imported for Australia. Comes with Au power plug and GST. Won't get that with kogan.
more about - its got no aus warranty
its cheap because - it wasnt heavily taxed when entering australia.. like all our electronics.
If you get the $100 gift card with bonus $30 gift card deal will cost you only $460 for an iPad air 16gb with local AU warranty. I know they are diff OS but worth comparing even if with other tablets at JBHifi instead of Kogan.
Huh, a tonne of messing around to pay more for a device that does less?
What are people's gripes with Kogan? I've bought from them with ease.
iPad air is just an example. surface rt $228 combine with the bonus $30 gift card deal you only pay $175 out of pocket. Because of this bonus $30 gift card deals it is worth considering or at least compare other tablet deals at JBhifi before jumping onto this.
Yea fair enough. I agree always compare products and service quality. I guess I'm just over seeing unjustified Kogan bashing from second hand sources.
Thank u got the Surface for$223
Hi, can you please update me, what is "…the bonus $30 gift card deal…"?
What are people's gripes with Kogan? I've bought from them with ease.
From past experiences when Kogan says 'Ships next business day' or 'Ships in 1-2 business days' then you can expect reasonably quick delivery. But when it says 'Ships in 3-7 business days' that basically means you're Kogan's bitch and it'll ship anytime between a week or roughly the time it took for Curiosity to travel from Earth to Mars. In a nutshell, Kogan aren't doctors but they sure do love to test your patience.
Definitely true.
Ordered a Note3 on 08/01, received an update saying 'due to international shortage of the product we will send your product after 5 business days'. When I ordered the product, the page was showing 'usually ships in 3-7 days'. What they do is, they make you wait the maximum 7 days, then send a stupid update email saying blah blah blah… This was my first transaction with this company. Never again…
I have no gripes with them, just usually it can work out cheaper for me to buy from another source. If the price is really good then I'll support. I can't see how you can claim kogan are an underdog… The underdog would be the local non chain b&m shop I'd think, who also has to pay gst, but quite often are very competitive on some things against these grey importers.
To some the iPad does a whole lot more by doing less. I've been playing with a Nexus 7 lately. It's a great little device but the whole experience is not quite there yet. It's still refreshing to open up an iPad and just use it.
I have an ipad air and a nexus 7, the nexus 7 is a better all round device in my opinion. The ipad air is great but has some annoying flaws that I don't like. It horses for courses at the end of the day.
I have the 32gb one from Kogan for the past year, no problem here other than a Kogan branded charger.
It is a pity these are not expandable with memory cards. I wonder if the new version will be.
I hate that they artificially cripple these things.
Everything is free shipping from kogan atm, not sure how long it's going to last. Sony NEX-3N for $339 with free shipping, a worthy mention as well.
links?
officeworks don't sell them….
Too much time looking in the mirror, not enough time bargain hunting, Dorian.
Crap product compare to Nexus 7 II.
Extra 3 inch but no thanks. An outdated product
Extra 3 inch but no thanks.
N10 has 77% more pixels than N7. N10's size and real-estate makes it a significantly more plausible device for reading (non-reflow) magazines, ebooks and PDFs. Horses for courses.
I own a asus memopad fhd and nexus 7 2013, the memopad fhd is considered inferior to the nexus 10, I find I tend to prefer the memopad to my nexus 7 in many respects. It really comes down to what you mainly want to use it for, the n7 wins for portability, but that's about it..
N10's problem is it is ugly
Was intrigued until I saw it was a grey import… Nice find nonetheless.
