War thunder is now available as a beta on the ps4. Downloaded it and it was pretty good. But i think its the same free model as the pc version where you buy in game stuff. But i still enjoyed the bare minimum without buying anything
Awesome game, I am at rank 18 in the Germans but to be honest I have more fun in the 3-5 rank games.
This game is always free, but some specials on steam for premium account planes and gold for in game purchases.
Just wanted pips who'd got their new shiny PS4s to know its out there on the market
Have they worked out linking accounts for users with who have played this on the pc also?

Not a "deal", it will always be free to play. It is right there in big writing on their website.

Freemium segaxavier, but I appreciate the heads up (I wouldn't have known it was available on PS4).
Other freemium on ps4 are available through the psn store - most people know already, but just in case there's also dc universe, warframe, blacklight, plus a couple of pinball ones. Just finished contrast which was actually pretty good, free for ps+ members along with resogun.
