It's got this button thingy you press where a nice lady tells you stuff…..like what song, artist and play list your listening to…..oh and battery life percentage.
:)
Its apple, what do you expect? Cheap price for functionality product?
The functionality of being able to drag and drop music files directly into the player is especially nice ;-)
Seems a bit expensive for 2GB…
"First post, be gentle" Why does this matter? Shouldn't people judge the deal on it's merits?
newbies use this as an ice breaker for some reason…
it's about as good an icebreaker as "so, great weather today.."
actually on second thoughts weather probably works better
He bought it from Cockburn - hence the 'please be gentle'
Been waiting for that :)
Surprised it took so long!
LOL. That is why we should apply sunscreen on every part of the body.
The best is how the locals pronounce it "Coburn", they get really offended if you say it the proper way…
fools…
show me another word in the english language with a completely silent "ck".
i cant wait to visit Cockburn… ill say it everywhere I can :).
I could have sworn I just traveled back in time seeing a 2GB player. Good price for though if you need a reliable and compact player for the gym or something.
I looked through some old stuff from the early "noughties" and found a 2GB player…
I would be stoked if someone would pay nearly $40 for it :p
and mine is actually suitable for the gym because it is waterproof…
i remember the days when i spent many happy hours scourging reviews for mp3 players and trying to find the cheapest price. such a pity there was no ozbargain back then. this was back when internet shopping was considered 'risk taking behaviour'
Better off buying a Sansa Clip Zip 4GB < $30 and buy a microsd card for expandable storage & also flash the Rockbox firmware.
Really, where?
ebay

$30 US + shipping
Good price, awesome little devices these, and the people complaining about the size have never used one of these. More than 2gb music on a device like this would be silly.
These were free with iPod touch not long ago.
Do these come with genuine apple earphones??
all ipods come with earphones.
the shuffle doesn't come with earpods, however: http://store.apple.com/au/buy-ipod/ipod-shuffle
not everyone needs a screen…i've got mine hooked up to my car stereo so it's simply unpractical to peer at a tiny screen while driving
there's still 5 slate grey ones and 1 blue one left as at 1pm today. best to give them a call before you go and reserve one.
Wow, $38 for only 2GB and no screen… But yet it is actually cheaper than other places ?!?!?
