"A Class Bin hire" have been the cheapest ive found when i called around. Used them multiple times while building.

It's always cheaper to transport yourself. The best is to call from the leader and get a FLAT rate, not by the tonne.
Make sure they know it's not heavy things like dirt etc.
I am in the waste industry, used to be all over, now in the west.
The larger, the company, the dearer the price. The big 3 commercial companies are generally the dearest.
Also, if you look around there'll be business bins that are normally on a regular schedule. Whether half full or completely full they pay the same rate… You could always "assist" then in achieving completely full status :)
