Hi guys,
Just after some advice please! Basicly, I want to purchase an electric heater for winter. I went and checked out a few places, but am unsure of what one to purchase. I want something that doesn't guzzle all the power and I end up with a $1,000 bill. I am prepared to pay more for the heater as opposed to a $20 job, as I know that a decent heater will cost a lot more and be probably (well I hope) a bit more energy efficient? Can anyone tell me what's also good about a ceramic heater? What one would be the best to purchase that won't knock the electricity bill out of the water? eg. bar heater, fan heater, ceramic, etc? Installation is not an option as I'm only renting. It will just predominately be used at night time to take the chill out of our freezing old house. Thanks!

Yeah it's asked last year :) Maybe you can check out some of the suggestions in that thread.
