      Yep, I had purchased it because I already regularly pay more than equivalent in shipping fees to the stuff I buy from cotd and the groceryrun site over the past years on a yearly basis and because of my intention to purchase other things regularly, so basically those samples are free to me.

  I like how they say "Friday Free Day" in big letters. Then add in small letters "*Selected products only. Shipping cap charges still apply.". Then you find out the item is a sample. Then you find you can only have one.
  Makes those generous product handouts at stations seem like Christmas! ;-)

    That membership fee is for COTD's Club Catch membership, which scores you free shipping for 1 year(?). You don't have to be a Club Catch member to buy things from Grocery Run or Catch of the Day, but you'll be slugged shipping, that's all.
