Looking to buy a reliable roadside assistance for a 2010 Toyota Corolla in melbourne. There will be a few 8 hour drives to Canberra. Any recommendations? I noticed many providers have a 50kms to nearest service centre for the towing service without the extra fee, but I don't know where the centres are, so I'm worried about what will happen in my car dies in the middle of my trip. Any ideas?

2010 Toyota Corolla
I would doubt if you would need roadside assistance at all, but of course now I say that…..
Like the above I think you would always be safe with RACV. Might check the RACV as the NRMA (NSW equivalent) has a 6 months for $60 deal at the moment, maybe RACV have the same
Do Toyota include free roadside assistance when they service your car like Hyundai do? They use the RACQ in Qld.
The #1 answer to the problem is to make sure all the essentials are in top condition before leaving…. tyres, cooling system (not just full either), battery, etc.
Roadside assistance…> Its hard to beat the motoring organisation product RACV in your case… some of the others have a ton of exclusions and restrictions so read the fine print thoroughly if you choose that route.
