80

David Jones currently have 10% off all Weber till 22/12. Available in-store and online, and click-collect is available at certain stores.

Discount is automatically taken off online. Find all Weber products here: http://shop.davidjones.com.au/djs/en/davidjones/Weber/bbqs

I tried stacking with WELCOME and TREATME5 but it didn't work.

I was in the market for a Q200 Natural Gas. I was intending to get it from Masters with their 15% Woolworths/Caltex petrol discount voucher offer here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/127210.

HOWEVER, to cut a long store short, I managed to get Masters to price-beat the David Jones 10% offer by a further 10% (after having to convince the store manager to beat their 'promotion' price), and then I scanned the 15% off voucher for an additional 15% off.

From $418 to $339.30 after price-beat to a final price of $288.40. Not too shabby.

The Woolworths/Caltex offer finishes tomorrow, so hop to it.

Note the offer is also on accessories, so pretty good savings available there too. I already purchased mine using the $25 Everyday Rewards code so didn't bother.

Saw the offer in their latest catalogue

  • So what's so good about weber q BBQ? Parents have been wanting a BBQ for ages, would be great to get my parents one for Christmas this year.

Personally, my courtyard is quite small so the compact size/profile of the Weber Q was ideal.

They also seem to be very efficient cookers in terms of gas consumption. And people seem to swear by the way they cook.

    • I just put my new Q305 together. Its amazing how much thermoplastic it has and so little metal. But at least it won't rust. What I liked best about it was the 5 year warranty on most parts. The small design will be great for all types of cooking, including roasts.

What's the advantage of owning the natural gas model?

    • +1

Connect it to your mains gas - never change a bottle.

      • and when u need to take it on the road? is there a conversion kit?

        • I've been told even the Baby Q is fairly heavy for the size, not great for lugging around.

EDIT: but it seems to be marketed as such, decide for yourself I guess.

        • 10.5kg… I'd call that transportable… but maybe not anywhere more than a couple hundred meters away.

        • Get the mobile trolley and you can pull it on wheels. Gas tank is the b**** to carry though.

        • where did u buy your Natural Gas Tank?

        • Sorry that's assuming you bought the LPG model.

  • FYI, not valid on the Baby Q because the discounted DJs price is not lower than the Masters price.
Also, I got a Masters 15% voucher a few hours ago (19th) from Woolworths Petrol and it expires today (20th). So get in quick.

    • is there a barcode on the voucher?

      • Yes there's a barcode

  • Hmm no family q at djs

    • In-store there is. And there was stock at the 3 stores I emailed them about.

I finally pulled the trigger on the Weber Q200 LPG, paid $252…
and bought the rolling cart for $64

    left the checkout girl bamboozled

    • oh and i'll get credited ~$16 with the ING direct card

so $300 for both BBQ and Cart

      • how did u get $252 ?

        It's $350.10 - 10% = 315.09 - 15% = 267.87 right ?

        • Williams Landing Opening promo… first 2000 customers received a 20% off voucher

        • nice :)

  • How does this one work? I go in and get them to price beat the DJ price and then give them the 15% off fuel voucher? Is it possible to stack two discounts together? When I last did a price beat at Masters I had to go to the main counter - not self serve.

    • the 15% off ended on 20.
