    My multi-account WHM is up for renewal but I am not sure if they will baulk at me placing a new order and have them migrate my sites over.
    Has anyone ever done that during one of these offers? You'd think they'd rather just apply the discount to save themselves some work.

    Their new customer deals like this are great, but once you're a customer, you're looking at comparitively very expensive hosting costs once it's time to renew. They used to do great deals for existing customers but seemed to have stopped that. I left VentraIP because of their costs and problems with their automatic billing, including an invoice several months after I had left their services and moved all my domains and hosting elsewhere.

    While their deals are great for new customers, be aware that it's a once off, so grab as many years with the discount as you can.

      Their plans are still competitive imo with Australian based hosting. They offer renewel discounts to existing customers a few times a year which makes it even better.

    My .com.au domain will expire in another 6 months. If I were to renew today for another 2 years, would it expire in 2 years from today or 2 years after it expires in 6 months?

      Not sure whether you can renew when it's expiring in 6 months. However the 2 years should be added after the current expiry.
