Is this a good deal? Suzuki Swift GL Auto + extras $16,500 driveaway

I'm looking at buying a new Suzuki Swift GL Auto and have been given a price of $16,500 drive away including:

  • Metallic Paint
  • Floor Mats
  • Tinting
  • Alloy Wheels

I really like this car and was wondering if I am getting good value for money.
Thanks

  • Fuel is expensive and getting ever more expensive, so running costs should be front and centre! Next is the HUGE loss you take buying new… 30% day 1… sucks

So can you buy better for the same or less thats say under 3 years old? If NO then GO BUY, if yes then buy that instead.

    carsales.com.au is your best friend!

regsitered DEMO or 2013 after xmas might save you more too. I got a demo cruze with leather & turbo dizel for 20k because it was 12 months on the LOT and now was a registered demo (done 400km) … BARGIN EVERYTING, INC THE FULL TANK OF FUEL, ANY SERVICING ECT… If its not in the contract they wont do it!

    good luck

  • I'm in the market for a swift as well - do you think this price would still be available?

  • Seems like a decent price to me, although getting an auto for these little buzzboxes is a terrible idea. Saps what little power they had in the first place right out of them.

Learn to drive a manual or spec-up to a bigger car. For about the same price you can have a 6sp manual Kia Cerato S, which is a serious bargain.

    • Yes this is what I have. Bought the 2013 Si model brand new a year ago for 16k drive away. No extras except for metallic paint but has cruise control, steering wheel controls. Great little 2l car. One little quibble is it uses a touch more fuel than quoted, but when fixed priced servicing is so cheap and it drives perfect I can't complain.
