Thanks OP! I'll bore you with how many I bought in this comment and inform you that the item has free delivery :)

    • how many did you buy?

    • -3

At the time it was listed Click and Collect, lacking a "big red free delivery stamp" so I stated how many I purchased and that delivery was free, I did not proceed to test minimum quantities for free delivery, so looks like others were just stating that smaller quantities also qualify.

Then smart arses like you can come along and read the updated title or comments and know the delivery is free!

      • Neg vote for calling us smart arses :)

  • +3

thanks op. free shipping for me

  • These make great carry cases for external hard drives.

    • Unless they fit snugly, I wouldn't recommend it. The HDD could move around inside.

Officeworks was selling some WD Passport soft cases for $1 each a while back. My sister bought a load of them.

  • This'll fit an EOS M… unfortunately no room for the lens - lol

This is a good sized bag for accessories anyway so I'm gonna get some but will click and collect as I want this before xmas.

  • +3

Not sure why but I just bought one. Thanks. (I think ;))

  • Thanks OP. Now my portable hard drive can have its case back and the camera can have one of these!

  • So is it "large" or is it "small and compact"?

    • Yes

    • It's small and compact compared with a car, and large when compared with an Irukandji jellyfish!

    • The dimensions are on the web page.
But to save a click, here:
      External Dimensions: 13cm x 4.5cm x 9cm

  • Thanks for your nice postings OP, ordered just one, and +1

  • Wonder how many will get knocked back by dse and how hard it will be to get their money back.l last time I ordered something I had to go to my cc company for a charge back.

    • They're still available now and mine are on their way already.

      • My has been sitting in a 'processing' state since I ordered. Anyone else have their stuck in 'processing'?

  • Got two for the kids' iPods and assorted accessories.

  • great just what I was after but too tight to pay more than $10 for one. I knew if I waited long enough ozbargain would deliver.

  • This purchase makes as much sense as the dozen mini cree flashlights its going to house. Thanks OP

  • OzBargain alternative - any random stubby holder for a Compact digital camera or a lens smaller than a 2.8

  • Thanks OP, been looking for a cheapie like this - will come in very handy

  • Thanks OP! Have ordered one and hope Santa can pop it thru my chimney.

  • Perfect for a newly acquired camera & charger etc…

  • thanks OP, bought 3

  • Still available - good size to throw the ipod touch, charger, earbuds and cables for travel.

  • Thanks OP bought 2.

  • Mine arrived. Very good size.

  • +2

Mine arrived too, prefect size for SONY Power Bank

    • +1

I was so happy it fit, ozbargain the whole way! Kudos to dicksmith, great delivery and they used a giant box with air tight bags to protect the bag LOL

      • Yeah, I always wonder, DS always send a little stuff with giant box and air cushion bags

    • Yes, it can fit 2 sony powerbank..

  • bought one

  • Any padding inside of the bag?

  • I was going to buy one but after looking at them instore whilst shoppinhg today they were actually smaller than the advertised dimentions on there web site.

Actual size is 13x4.5x6 cm. Compared to 15.3x5x12.5 cm listed on web site. So alot smaller than I was expecting.

    • The dimensions you have quoted are the "Packaged dimensions" under the Specs. tab.
The Overview tab has the real dimensions and are pretty much what mine measure.
      i.e. External Dimensions: 13cm x 4.5cm x 9cm

  • Got mine today (ended up ordering via post as Click and Collect didn't have the number I wanted).

It's a good size camera pouch… will fit most P&S cameras and the accessories compartment is big enough to hold a few batteries and flash cards. I threw a Samsung ES80 (really small P&S) in one with two batteries and the data/charging cable into the accessories case.

No carry handle, or shoulder strap, just a belt loop and a carabiner to hook onto something which I wouldn't feel comfortable doing… the bit that connects the carabiner to the bag looks a bit weak.

Saw the bag at DS today. It's quite small imo. +1 vote from me anyway. Some people might find it to be the right size.

    • What are you insinuating?

  • I bought it the other day.. Simply because I knew it'd cost them more to post it than I paid for it. That's as a 'screw you' to DS about the last surge board special they had that they tried to screw me over with the BOGOF that they claimed wasn't happening even though it was in their website.

Yes I know it cost me money, I'll find some use for it or give it to someone as part of their Christmas present. But it did make me feel a little warm and fuzzy when they posted it with StarTrack.

If Dick Smith want to live up to their name of being a 'Dick', then stuff 'em.

Shouldn't have to argue over a few emails, send screenshots of their own offer (and order it online, have it shipped from the online store) and they say it's not eligible for the offer as the code it uses it different (even though the code only differed in 'web' at the end) even though it came from their online store.

Took me threatening to contact fair trading that they then decided to be 'generous' and send me the other board. Have a very, very poor view of DS for a while now, that just took the cake.

  • They delivered it to me by courier this morning. Pretty fast.

They put it inside a massive box with lots of packaging, even though the item is not even fragile. I wish DJ was as extravagant at packing things. They just put my Kindle inside a plastic bag with my address attached to it. No packaging whatsoever.

Still no love (+) for the deal?

  • Mine was delivered today too, pretty good service for stuff all money spent!

  • Mine came today.
To my surprise I got 2 in the one parcel for $3.75.
    Hey I am not complaining.
    Thanks OP.

  • mine came :D

  • perfect size for the Sony charger

  • thanks

    Thanks OP.

Received mine. I find it disgusting that Dick Smith use such superfluous packaging. Was it really necessary to use plastic air bags for a $3.75 (canvas, cheap, and non-fragile) camera bag? I would have been happy to see item in a sealed paper bag as the inner product was already encased in plastic.

Really, Dick Smith? It's all going to land-fill and you're an ignorant contributor. There's already "too many people", there's "even more pollution".

    • Perhaps we should put a government mandated price on packaging that is measured by the tonne - that will focus the mind!

      • Well, one air-filled, plastic pillow is going to weigh next to nothing.

But, pollution will accumulate. One piece of plastic can kill a bird. Excess quantity of plastic/pollution can throw off equilibrium and disrupt an ecosystem.

Just need conscientiousness is all, at least.

        • Yes I know, I was just being facetious about anyone opposing the carbon tax.

        • I'm aware of the allusion earlier. Conscientiousness is free and has no negative implication for consumers. Not that I'm opposed outright to the idea of carbon tax.

  • Great size for the Sony RX100. Plenty of padding as well.
