Sun Sox protects little feet from the heat. They are made from UPF 50+ material which stretches and moulds to little feet. The soles are made out of neoprene which ensures that they provide feet with grip to ensure that kids don't slip!

These are great protective kids footwear that they can wear on the beach or by the pool. They are UPF 50 rated as tested by ARPANSA.

Our kids love their Sun Sox and wear them to the beach which ensures that whether they are running in the sand, playing in the sea or even building sand castles, their feet are protected from the harmful UV rays as well as from the heat of the sand.

At the pool they help to make sure my girls won't slip and fall. They help to make sure their feet won't get burnt because they are protected by UPF 50+ Sun Sox which provide excellent UV protection.

My kids even wear Sun Sox in sand pits which protects little feet from heat, cuts, scrapes and germs.

They can also be worn in soft play areas for grip and protection from germs.

    my kids just wear thongs…

    • I never expose my children to sunlight.

    • Thanks for the comment. Thongs do not offer sun protection. The Sun Sox are UPF 50 rated and allow kids to run on the sand with the same under foot protection as thongs may offer, but with the added protection of the UPF material to protect the tops of their feet.

They also offer a lot more movement when the kids wear them on the beach due to the way they cling to the feet and so are not loose and can fall off.

I appreciate your comment anyway. Merry xmas.

  • My kids even wear Sun Sox in sand pits which protects little feet from heat, cuts, scrapes and germs

Oh my! I just wrap their teensy weensy toesies in cotton wool so the don't get nasty germs on their feet in the sandpit

  • They can also be worn in soft play areas for grip and protection from germs.

Feet! protect from germs….what you smokin op!

SPF 50 lotion for the top of the little ones feet.

Also if the sand was that hot at the beach to require Sox then what about Sand Gloves? Would not want to see their hands burned from all that hot sand while building sand castles.

      • Wearing protective footwear around wet poolside areas and beaches help to prevent your feet from picking up bacteria and other things. This offers an alternative to thongs as you do not need to worry about them falling off and you can use them to swim in.

We thank you for your feedback but a lot of people have been buying them to help protect their children's feet from the UV rays and on the beach and poolside.

        • Fair enough but protective socks for a sandpit, come on!

It will perform roughly the same protection. The Neoprene is synthetic rubber which is a very durable material. This allows a parent to put a barrier between the childs foot and whatever is in the sandpit. This is surely better than bare feet alone. Especially considering the foot allergies that you can pick up.

The socks allow the kids to move around without being restricted. Which offers a big difference to the alternatives out there.

At the end of the day, its another preventive method which helps to put a barrier in between the skin and other things.

        • Let's agree to disagree. I think a barrier on kids' feet in a sandpit is ridiculously overprotective and unnecessary. My and all the other kids I see in the sandpit end up with sand all through their hair, mouth, ears, eyes, hands…in their nappies.

I'm not saying you have a bad product but let kids be kids.

        • Happy to agree to disagree.

Each parent will need to decide on what they want for their kid.

A lot of parents (and grandparents) have already bought them for their kids and are very happy with them.

Parents need to decide for themselves.

But at the same time kids can still be kids… especially with the added protection :-)

          Have a good xmas.

        • My kids keep eating the cat do-dos in the sandpit. OP, would you have a neoprene gimp mask that I can put over my kids faces to stop them eating dog jobbies. SPF 50+ would be nice.
