EOS M owner here.
No it does not include the EF-M lens adapter however you can buy it here or eBay for ~$100 http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/astore/Canon-Mount-Adapt…
Yes, the firmware improved the AF quite a lot. Check youtube for side by side comparisons.
The 22mm f/2.0 on this body is bliss.
with the slow AF maybe better to wait for the M2… hopefully M2 will come to Oz
I dont think the M2 will arrive in Australia….
Hmm… Just me personally but I'd spend the extra $50 and get the NEX 3n. You're getting just one lens but I'd take that one lens over the two Canon lenses offered here any day.

Or if you don't mind the DSLR form factor, save $56 and get the E3000.

As far as I have been able to suss out, the lens on the Sony offers the advantage of power zoom and compact size, but is inferior to both Canon offerings with the EOS M with regards to quality.

Keep in mind the 22mm prime bundled here is one of the best values and opens up to f2.0. I originally got the EOS M for this lens. This bundle is a bargain.
Cheapest I've seen it!
Bargain.
Past deal at Ryda:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/118634
Ryda opted not to send the camera in a separate box, but rather wrapped it in a post bag with no padding. This is clearly much better value and the chances of getting a slightly squashed box are very low (if picking up in-store).
:-)
On the topic of M2 availability:

Ozbargained!
Same price at TGG: http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/buyonline/Canon_EOS_M_Twin_Len…
Does it include the flash?
My twin-lens kit came with it bundled, but good question since JB don't specifically mention it. I'm pretty sure it's yes since Canon pack the twin-lens kits this way.
I asked Ryda the same question a while back and they confirmed the twin lens kit should include the flash as it's packed by Canon.
How good is the flash anyways? I wouldn't mind using it on my 600D for times when the lens/hood causes shadows in the shot. Don't need a top of the line flash as I'm not a fan of flash photography but just need something better than the built in flash from time to time.
I recently bought a 700d for a great price and bought a Yongnuo flash for $70 odd dollars through all the good write ups I read about them.
I don't really need another camera but had thoughts of sharing some of the peripherals both ways.
Yes, the kit does include a flash. Just purchased two kits from a JB store in Perth.
The firmware they came with v1.0.6 had the slow AF issue. when attempting to focus, it would hunt around for 2+ seconds.
Downloaded and installed the 2.0.2 firmware, which resolved the problem. There is a noticeable difference in the AF speed, with the new firmware.
Damn happy with the price too. Body 2 lenses, flash, plus 2 UV filters came to $415 each.
Tossing up between this and the Sony NEX-3N? which one to go for?
This Canon one is made in which country? I know Sony one is made in Thailand :/
It has 'Made in Japan' written on it. I'm quite impressed with the construction of the body, and lenses. The whole kit seems well made, and nice to hold.
ummmmm should i ….
Not sure what to do …
Have been looking at the Panasomic GF3 or the EPL3
What do …. >.<
does this include the EF lens adapter?
Also, can any owners confirm the firmware update actually improved AF?
