Big W have started selling Impossible Project Polaroid film for $29 per pack.

If you have an original Polaroid camera you'll know how expensive and hard to come by film can be these days since Polaroid stopped manufacturing it several years ago. The Impossible Project took over much of their old equipment and has been making their own film for several years now, but it is notoriously expensive. Film is 19 Euro per pack (approx $29) plus 18 Euro shipping to Australia (at least $56 per order total for ONE film). There are a few places around that sell the film locally, usually for around $35 per pack, so Big W's price seems like a good deal. Essentially this is the same price as ordering from The Impossible Project directly, minus the shipping charge.

Film is available in store and online. If buying online you may like to use the '10OFFBR' posted by KnowingNothing to get $10 off your order total. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/127187

  • $19 if you combine with this deal…

  • no PZ860? :( I'm running low on my stack.

  • This is way cheaper than when I bought directly from them a couple years ago. I think it was $44 for 10 pack. I felt the money disappear as I clicked away. I left the pack a little open to sunlight and the whole thing overexposed and can't do anything anymore.

    +1 from me.

  • $3.60 per photo! You'd want to be the love child of Ansell Adams and Annie Liebovitz at that price per shot.

The $10 off bargain would help in the first instance https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/127187

  • Maybe worth considering buying one of the Fuji Instax cameras…then buy film for $75 for 100 photos.
