1200TC Egyptian Cotton Queen Sheet Set $89 Delivered. Other Sizes Available

24
GET10VOUCHER

Luxor brand. A good price I believe as they do include darker colours and not striped. The GET10VOUCHER is still active. Delivery Jan7-14, 2014. Apologies for no direct link to specified product-am using an android and dunno how to link. I went for the wine coloured-hopefully wont show my bergundy regurgitation but will definately show 'other' stains!!!

from the only info i could find on this brand

    http://www.amazon.com/LUXOR-Striped-1200TC-Egyptian-Cotton/p…

The sheets are very thin, not what i expected.

im calling shenanigans on 1200tc. as with most of these cheap brands its probably more like 120tc than 1200.

BSing about tc is like buying a king size sheet set, opening them up and finding they measure in there own CM's which are equivalent to everyone elses MM's and the sheets dont fit…

as for $89 for "cheap" low tc sheets, you can get them much cheaper in most sales anywhere. deals direct have them around the $50 mark for there 1000tc (which are closer to 200tc in reality) which would be similar to these im sure

    • There's more to feel than TC.

Just look up "thread count myth" on google.

High TC is not a guarantee it will feel soft and luxurious.

i used to work in the textiles industry (sheridans factory when they used to make there stuff here)… so i do know a little about it. theres also other deals been on here that have claimed TC but when you read the fine print its not threads per inch but threads per 4 inch…. so only (at best) 1/4 of there claimed tc

tc has become worse than "invented RRP's" that are nowhere near a reflection of any real price

    • 2 positive reviews v/s 1 negative review.. How can you neg this?

        2 positive reviews v/s 1 negative review..

unless your reading a different page to me….. its 2 2star reviews saying they are cheap and one 4 star from someone who says they dont know anything about sheets..

negged because 1200tc is utter BS and for cheap crappy sheets like these $90 odd isnt cheap….

I'm voting this down because I can't see the product description without signing up for their site; and I hate that.

It always feels like a store clerk demanding your driver's licence and credit card before you walk in the store.

This site is dodgy. I have a friend who used to deal with them. They buy old branded stock from wholesalers and then mark up the price like crazy. Most of their items are already out of fashion and have been in storage for years. I stay clear of this site.

Luxor brand is crap and I feel ripped off. I bought 1000 TC sheets on Ozsale. Sheets felt smooth out the pack but fit very loosely and are rough when sleeping on them. After one wash they feel more like cheap Kmart sheets. Thinking of cutting them up to use as mop up rags. Waste of $100.
