  Thanks for the post. Are you a rep or associated with Libon? If so, you should declare that.

  I had a look at the web site. It looks "pretty" but doesn't really tell me anything. For example: costs, or what service you offer. I'm assuming Libon is similar to skype.

  I'm sure if I tried a bit harder, I could find out more about Libon if I dug deeper.

  Thanks, this is awesome, was able to call Aussie mobile and a libon con tact free, it also works for Aussie land line but my VoIP number did not work. Thanks for the post.

  How does this work does the person your calling have to have on there phone also,i take its only mobile to mobile or can i pick this up and call any phone anywhere

    Any supported number, and it uses your caller id. For some reason my VOIP number did not work and some international numbers not supported. You can also call others on libon for free if they both have the app.

    Looks like a promising alternative to skype viber and others.

  It's pretty hard to find, so here's the list. (Bit of an odd collection there!):

  This offers includes calls to mobile phones and landlines except:
  • special numbers
  • automates numbers
  • premium rates numbers

  For emergency services:
  Libon does not replace your mobile service. Libon may redirect the call to a different network that will put the call through to emergency services, but this does not work in all countries. We recommend that you quit the app and dial the emergency number via your mobile service.

  Should be careful.
  These Apis are usually call forwarding services which means your mobile plan (most likely) will exclude them
  And as such charge you rates outside your plan.
  Not sure how it works with this service but seen it heaps where people get a huge bill using these free call apps.
