Nothing like the Great Ocean Road drive in Sydney. But there is the Bondi to Bronte walk which is about 6km.
There is the Grand Pacific Drive.
Featherdale zoo if you're into animals
on the same token- Kings X from 11pm ;)
manly? Taronga zoo?
thanks for the feedback guys Grand Pacific will be on my list now sorting out cheap rental deals.
Just back from a month holiday in Sydney. So much to do.
One of the best activities was walking around the harbour. Free detailed maps available. Best was "Manly to the Spit". Ferry to Manly, pick up map at tourist info at end of warf. 4+ hours of great harbour & sea views, walking beside cliffs, plenty of wildlife (eg hundreds of cute Eastern Water Dragons, birds) & few people during the week.
eat lots of food if that's your thing, I usual travel to a place because of a particular type or a specific food.
lots of cross cultural cuisine or authentic flavours, fine dining or causal affair,
things I never eat on holidays… are usually food that I can get where i'm from and eat at fast food chains.
Take the ferry from Circular Quay across the fantastic harbour to Manly, walk to the ocean once there, comeback to ferry terminal and have a nice lunch & few coldies.
Blue Mountains? They're popular to see. Also Royal National Park if you like the outdoors. Depends on whether you have a car and you're willing to travel.
