  • Not a bad price ! I wanted this for some decorations was around $25~ at many places…

  • Anyone who owns these have any thoughts on how they compare as a "normal" light, when colours aren't needed?

    Also, Bayonet anyone?

Yeah. B22 here also, no use for screw fittings.
Price seems pretty good compared with eBay and very good compared to woolworths/bunnings etc.

@NewFrog Store Rep - you really need to fix the search function on your website! Searching for key words displays every single item with every single search term, which is completely useless.

Searching for "B22 Color Changing LED" shows 11 pages of results, most of which are worthless. It shows pages worth of battery powered Christmas toys, white LED bulbs, and Edison Screw E27 bulbs, not what I'm actually searching for.

You have some good prices and I'd like to use your website more, but because your search is broken it's completely impossible to find what I want, so I usually end up going to BuyInCoins or TomTop instead as both have working search engines.

  • Hi Rep, B22?
    Thnaks

    • Hi pal,

We are now no this kind of B22 color changing LED light bulb on our website, but we will exploit B22 RGB light bulb next year. The E27 RGB bulbs are also good.Thanks.:)

  • Anyone know if these will work in dimmable sockets ?

    • I bought one from Woolies for Halloween. (Very similar if not the same) and it is dimmable with the supplied remote, not too sure if it will work on a dimmable socket thou

    • I highly doubt these would dim properly with dimmer sockets. From learned guessing and some experience they'll probably stay the same brightness even if you turn the dimmer down low, until a point where they completely turn off. These LED lamps have internal circuitry so they can work with any common worldwide voltage from 85-265V AC at the same brightness. Dimming would only work using the remote control, which probably uses Pulse Width Modulation to 'fake' dimming by flashing the LED so fast your eyes can't tell it's only on half or a quarter of the time.

LED bulbs that dim properly with wall-mounted dimmer knobs tend to cost more, but they are definitely available. They will specifically say 'dimmable' in the description.

Do I want to spend $8 on a needless impulse buy?

    I bought one :-/

    • LOL.I think it maybe not a needless impulse buy. Thanks for your order.:)

  • mine came before xmas. Great light!

    • wow,great!Merry Christmas.:)

  • Received mine, didn't look any brighter than my other 3 watt RGB globe so measured output with wattage meter and it showed that this 9 watt globe is only outputting 3 watts on it's highest brightness setting!!!

Anyone else measured the output of theirs?
