Sony Xperia Z1 $612 and Xperia Z Tablet $409 refurb, can anyone do better?

So, I'm looking at getting an Xperia Z1 (preferably purple), and an Xperia tablet Z (preferably black, wifi only isn't a problem)

Z ultra (the phablet) isn't an option, reading uni textbooks and watching movies on anything less than a 10-inch screen is a pain, and one-handed operation of my phone is definitely preferred.

Probably goes without saying, but chasing Outright and unlocked, I'm happy with my current prepaid plan, and contracts just don't add up to anything other than pissing money away for no reason

Selling off my iPhone 5 and iPad 2, I was really just holding out for the release hype to die down on the Z series, working in and around water makes the water resistance handy, and I liked the setup of my old Xperia. Changing the tablet as well, as I'd prefer to keep them running the same OS, and SD cards mean it's easier to transfer all my uni work on and off it.

Also helpful would be any apps to sync the phone into my itunes library and contacts, would rather not re-do my entire music library if it can be avoided.

    Sorry to disappoint you, but you might want to add that Z1 to your cart and see what happens (specifically, the $75 delivery charge). Typical Becextech

      Argh, I knew I shouldn't do things late at night.

      Kogan leapfrogs Becextech on that front then, have updated prices to the lowest shipped :P

    Sorry, you're saying Z Ultra isn't an option because it is too small for movies and unit textbooks, but you're going for a z1? You know z1 is smaller that the Z Ultra right?

    In any case, I watch movies on my small z1 screen in the train and not that small, but thats just me.

      He/she wants the tablet for movies and textbooks and prefers a small phone for one handed operation - that's how I understand it anyway.

        This is correct. Tablet is for movies/games when I'm at home, and to hold my textbooks, notes etc so I'm not carrying my laptop back and forth to uni. Z Ultra is not big enough for my likings for this stuff.

        Z1 is to carry around all day and do phone things on, the occasional casual game on the bus or whatever, but mainly just phone calls, texting, emails, calendar, that sort of thing. Z Ultra is unneccesarilly large for my tastes for this stuff.

    MSY is selling the Z1 for $599, only black and white though
