Lack of bass? I thought it had good bass. I also own the ath 700d. That one lacked serious bass.it'd they still had the first model I would get a second one for a spare.it's made so well it doesn't fall apart by itself over time.
Actually, the CAL is supposedly instock on the Creative site for $79.99. You can still get another pair.

Those cans are value at $60 or so, at $130 there are much better choices available.
I think you mistook the product, this one is for the new CAL 2… the $60 ones are the CAL (btw this price is only for when it is on special usually about $80).
According to the review they have improved upon the CAL slightly… whether it is worth the difference of $70 is another matter. From what i read in the reviews, they are slight improvements over the previous item so i highly doubt it should warrant the massive difference in price (relatively).
Just wait a couple of months and it should probably drop down abit, the high price of $130 might just be because it is new.
