Thoughts on my current discount on Heirloom Fruit and Vegetable Seeds in my ebay store?

I currently have a special package for Christmas, we are offering a package of everything we sell for over 25% off and free registered post.

I wasn't sure if I should submit it as a deal as we only have 10 Packages available, but I still want to let the OzBargain community know about our offer.

The listing is here http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190997… and the link to our eBay store is here http://stores.ebay.com.au/Busuttil-Trading-Heirloom-Seeds?_t…

Does this deal meet the criteria of being submitted as a deal?

Thanks and Merry Christmas

    G'day Matt,

I'm not sure on the particulars/elgibility of the deal…

You may get asked what the normal price would be (or the price if purchased individually from your store)… And you'll get asked for price in title too :)

That said, can you confirm that these are 100% non-gmo heirloom seeds?

I'm really tempted to pull the trigger on this (although there's probably a few too many tomato seeds in my humble opinion), but great selection :D

    Cheers,
    Adam

    • I can 100% confirm these are non-gmo heirloom seeds.

Yeah we have a lot of tomatoes as it was our first crop and mainly what we chose to grow.

Normal price is $76 and discount price is $50 a saving of $21, I would put this in the title if I get confirmation it is ok to list as a deal.

      Kind Regards,

      Matt.

Have the seeds been closed-pollinated or DNA tested for GM? If not, how can you say non-gmo with confidence?

        • Because these seeds are harvested from plants i have myself been growing for the last few years from plants that have been grown separate from each other, the only plants Couldn't 100% guarantee are the black and green strawberries, my original seeds were bought from an ebay seller years ago i doubt i could find the listing.

I would happily get them Dna tested, but the price for this on so many varieties. I only just started selling this year and all the seeds over the past few years have bred true, GM seeds grow fruit that is sterile like blue strawberries and I don't touch anything GM myself which is why i dont sell them.

As I am unsure about the black ad green strawberries I would happily do a listing without them for $40

Edit, perhaps i should change 100% sure to fairly certain.

      • I should say fairly certain not 100% sure, as i can not afford to get genetic testing done and the green and black strawberries are being sourced from someone i know who grows them. All other seeds are from my own seedstock that I have been growing in seperate plexiglass boxes for years.
