  Got an email confirmation on 8 December for placement, stating the gift card was mailed out on 8 Dec.

  Just called Dicksmith customer care.

  After waiting for nearly an hour, a girl picked up and said my order has not been mailed out yet.

  When I asked for the reason, she sounded annoyed and kept saying "All right, it's our system had a problem, Okay? I will try to arrange it for you." (As my occupation requires me, I'm sure I asked quite nicely though)

  When I asked for a time when they will dispatch the order, she said she doesn't know.

  Not gonna make any purchase from DSE online and was dissapointed that DSE employ staff with such poor attitude toward people calling in to enquire.

  In the email, just a link to download the PDF. It can't be used for online purchases so you have to print and redeem in store for goods.

        I was too. Been very persistent and calling them up everyday for the last 5 days and also called their head office. I think that is why we both got it today.

        02 9642 9100. Expect to be on hold for at least 15 mins. Much better than the 1300 number, average wait time is 50 minutes

        Just called their head office number. Got transferred to a senior liason officer. Got email within 1 hour after talking to him. Thx runamuck for the info.

  called the 1300 number got hungup on after 50min wait didnt even speak to anyone so i contacted head office, apparently someone will call back that can help will keep you updated

    I have messaged their facebook, got a quick response to say they are looking into it… hope is not high either, but at least I can abuse them publicly there!

  There is another problem. I can't use their web site to check my balance.

  It keeps giving me the message, Invalid Details, Please Try Again.

  Since a lot of people complained about receiving less balance or card not activated issue. I want to make sure the digital card is usable before I go to the store.

  Now I can login and the balance is correct :)
