  How good / reliable is this model. Is it energy efficient? I am thinking of going dual screens. Will a AMD 7850 handle 2 of these screens?

    It's a monitor, it's not something that will suffer a lot of abuse during use so it should be fine.

    Dual screen is great for productivity, I've always found it helpful to have dual screens.

    7850 should be fine for dual screens, as should all modern graphics cards.

        No problem at all for normal stuff. Basically, even integrated graphics can handle dual monitors now. It's just for multi monitor gaming you need a good graphics card.

    The monitor is nothing special, you get what you pay for. I don't know about energy efficiency but it should be relatively low if you just browse the internet etc.

    As for the 7850, it can certainly handle two monitors but NOT particularly well if you are planning to game on both of them. It'll be more than fine for videos and such. Hope that helps.

        What makes a monitor special?

        • Panel type (VA, IPS or PLS)
        • Resolution and aspect ratio (1920 x 1200, 2560 x 1080, 2560 x 1440)
        • Refresh rate (120Hz, 144Hz)
        • Colour accuracy (high % of RGB and sRGB colour spaces)
        • Connections (DisplayPort)
        • Features like VESA mount-compatibility and included webcams, USB ports and microphones. Also there's obviously size and reliability.

        This is a basic 1920 x 1080 TN panel.

  That is the crappest monitor ever. I bought two, dead pixels galore. It should be that price anyway.
