Melbourne to Toronto (with 6 days London) travelling December - January

Hi
Please can I have some assistance with this travel plan.
Depart Melbourne 24 Dec ( have to work until 23/12)
Fly to London as I am ex-Londoner and want to visit childhood memories
Depart London 1 January
Fly to Toronto to visit my sister who is very unwell
Depart Toronto 8 or 9 January
Return to Melbourne as work starts on 13 January

Looking for cheap bargains, shortest flight, as I am family mum travelling on her own. I want to be able to save some dollars so I can help my sister with her medical bills.

    Your more or less going around the world, its not going to be cheap or short unfortunately.

    I have heard good things about this site for finding cheap flights: https://flightfox.com/

    Basically you pay a small fee and a army of people who are very good at finding cheap flights compete with each other to get the cheapest / best flight for you.

      There are also two other problems:

      (1) Christmas period travel - flights will NOT be cheap during the silly season in economy.
      (2) Your dates are extremely restrictive - so flying to another European city or multiple stops, would be out of the question.
