Not sure if anyone interested in this. This just released today and it's free.
Neverwinter is a free, action MMORPG based on the acclaimed Dungeons & Dragons fantasy roleplaying game. Epic stories, action combat and classic roleplaying await those heroes courageous enough to enter the fantastic world of Neverwinter!

Bargain
It's been out for about 6 months now and has always been free to play.
This is just it's Steam launch.

It was in open beta for a couple of months before that too.
Even then, free to play games aren't bargains.
Definitely one for the forums. That said, it's a good game and sucked me in for a good few months, but I eventually got sick of it. It's kind of addictive eg. doing stupid things like your professions through the Neverwinter gateway… found myself wasting time at work levelling my professions etc. I enjoyed the actual game itself but just felt compelled to level my professions at every opportunity which really killed the enjoyment for me…
Yeah if you need a game for a month or two, it's recommended.
Not really a typical WoW/Rift type MMO. More like Tera (in terms of action combat).
Average graphics but good hack and slash (got my Trickster rogue to max) fun and some interesting features like user made content (The Foundry? if I remember correctly).
I vaguely recall a game from ten years ago called Neverwinter Nights, any connection to this?
Same location & lore. Somewhat different gameplay.
Probably one for the forums. It can't be described as a monetary bargain as it is intended for free play.
