Porting Vodafone number to Boost. Boost says use chat, but needs Bigpond acct???

Okay- usually I'm fine with understanding this stuff..but…

I'm switching from Voda (coverage is bad at my new place) to Boost— hoping that being on the Telstra network might help…I also like their unlimited $40 deal. My 24 mth contract with Voda ends 22 Dec.

Now, the issue is that I went to the Boost site to read their, "how-to" about porting my Voda number to them. They specifically say to

1st: get their SIM, 2nd: use their "chat" to port the number- otherwise, it won't go through.

To test this, I just tried clicking their, "chat" button- & it brings me to a "sign in with your bigpond details" page?? Wha??

Obviously, I can't sign in to bigpond, since I'm not a customer of bigpond.

Now what?

    I just went back to the page I had left up (& couldn't get anything but the bigpond sign-in to come up) & now I get the same page as you show here…I know it wasn't me- I tried Chrome, Firefox, & Opera- & they all went to that bigpond page.

    Weird?
