I have been looking for the Driving Force GT for a while now.

Recently the price has sky rocketed, obviously due to the release of GT6.

Dick Smith have it for $179 even though they had it for $129 not too long ago.

I know there have been $79 deals of this product BUT at current state of the market, this is the cheapest price.

I don't know if I should get one or wait to see if it will come down in price.

Would the reason for a price increase just be GT6 or new model?

UPDATE: Price dropped to $115.. After I bought it for $149.. Wow.. Oh well. Great wheel. Definitely worth it.

I purchased one. For the reviews this wheel got and the features it has compared to others, such as full force feedback and 900' Rotation, as well as the build quality, I have no qualms paying this for it.

Excellent wheel. I got mine from EB for $100 about 6 months ago. Might wanna check there before buying on eBay.

Dick Smith's deal of $179 include a copy of GT6, so it is a better deal if you also want GT6. I got mine for $99 a few years ago and I will not pay $145 for this wheel alone nowadays.

I bought mine used, at Gumtree, for $40, a year ago, and can say it's an awesome device!

They have been on special in the $80 range in the past. I wouldn't pay $145.
