Would this Iphone Power Adapter Wall Charger work in Australia?

Hi all, I'm looking for some new genuine Apple power adapters and saw this on eBay (from the US).

The description says "Use this compact economical 110-120 volt AC USB Power Adapter standard rate charger for an overnight battery charge".

So I'm assuming it wouldn't work in Australia? I'm a noob in this kind of thing so is there any way I can work around this? It seems like a good price if they are actually genuine. Also I do realise that I need to use a power plug converter thingy to fit the Aussie socket.

Thank you.

  • No, if it says 110-120V it will blow up when connected to the 230V here. You could use a transformer in between but it'll end up more expensive.

    • i won't risk with this…

If it's only 110-120 volt, then it's not genuine. I have a genuine US style apple iphone charger (i.e. it came in a box with an iphone), and it's 110 - 240v.
