Just a note to Sony X members that there are heavy discounts on Sony's 4K Ultra HDTV range of TVs today only.

For example the 55 Inch 4K Ultra HD 3D LED LCD SMART TV KD55X8504A is $2923.32 and comes with a bonus $500 EFTPOS card.

Do people think these are worth the money? Does any one have this particular TV and have any feedback? Thanks.

    I have it sitting in my cart too, the problem is I will get XXX up by my Mrs if i buy it for the bedroom…. (Bought a 60" FHD SONY 2 months ago for living room. the 55" will have no place to put).

I'd say wait for a year and 4K TVs will be less than $2000?

  Very likely, next years will come be maybe HDMI 2.0 capable, current crop will drop in price.
