But I went into kmart (Burwood NSW) and saw one of the same size (4.5L) for only $15. There were about 5 - 6 left. However, it was a clearance price so not sure if this is available at all kmarts.
Looking at reviews of the pot online they use to be $25 and received good reviews.
The handle on the kmart version is apart of the cast iron itself as opposed to the aldi version which I think is better.
