Dell UltraSharp 28 Ultra HD Monitor (P2815Q) - Coming in 2014 for Under USD $1,000?

Saw this Press Releases on Dell this morning, introducing some of the up-coming 4k monitors. 32" UP3214Q and 24" UP2414Q are available now. There's also a third model, 28" P2815Q, that will be available in early 2014.

The Dell 28 Ultra HD Monitor will be available in early 2014. Offering the same incredible Ultra HD screen performance as the Dell UltraSharp 32 and Dell UltraSharp 24 Ultra HD Monitors, but priced at under $1,000

Hands up whoever wants one?!!! $1,000 figure there would be USD, and I have no idea how much "Australian tax" it is going to be.

    Uh, 24in UHD monitor is priced at $1400, so I don't see a 28inch being less than that. 32in is $3500.

      Given this is what Dell have officially announced. I am pretty sure it will be. Check the link above. Perhaps prices will drop on the other two as well and these prices are just early adopter premiums. Potentially some specs of the 28" may be lower than the 24" as well.

      Likely different grade of panels are used. Like the "M" monitors in UltraSharp. 24bit vs 30bit colours for example.
